My son Gunnar Berg was born in 1999 when I was serving in the Navy. He is a wonderful kid who has been a very good boy to both his mother and father. In August 2009 his mother decided that he no longer needs a father when she abducted him to Japan against court orders already established here in the United States. This whole situation must be very hard on him. When I was only 9 years old my mother Joanna Berg passsed away so I know the pain it causes when a parent is separated from a child. At 9 Gunnar's mother Naoko Numakami made a horrible decision by taking Gunnar away from his father. This separation did not need to happen and now my son Gunnar and daughter Kianna must unnecessarily suffer through not having a father around to provide love and support.
